Executive Consultant/Coach
As an Executive Consultant/Coach, Lou has
provided Louws training to literally hundreds of corporate
and agency executives for clients such as Genentech, Novartis,
Texas Capital Bank, the American Association of Advertising
Agencies professional development series (AAAA), the American
Advertising Federation (AAF), University of North Florida MBA
Program, and many advertising agencies and public relations
firms throughout the country.
Immediately prior to joining Louw's Management as an Executive Consultant/Coach,
Lou served as a marketing communications consultant and coach for clients
such as Wal-Mart Stores (Bentonville, Ark), The Scotts Company (Miracle-Gro
Brands), The National VFW Foundation and WWII Memorial, Minutemaid, Coca-Cola,
Dow Chemical, Skinner Management Corporation, University of Florida,
Nova Southeastern University, and American Forests.
As Vice-President of William Cook Marketing Communications (a $100 million
Florida-based agency). Lou developed marketing strategies and managed
advertising/pr plans for clients such as Mayo Clinic, Republic Industries,
Alamo Car Rental, Florida Medical Association, Government of the Bahamas
Ministry of Tourism, First Union, Barnett Banks, Winn Dixie Stores, Ford,
CSX Railroad, Charter Company, Humana, Independent Life Insurance, IBM
and Bell South.
Lou also served as the Legislative Coordinator for the American Association
of Advertising Agencies in Florida.
Lou created, developed and managed the implementation of the "Bahamahost" training
program for the Ministry of Tourism, Government of the Bahamas. This
tourism training program includes over twenty major components spanning
15 years and was recognized by the Organization of American States (OAS)
as the "most effective professional development training program
in the Caribbean Basin" and generated significant trade press (e.g.
ASTA publications).
Lou served as a consultant to the Governor of Florida on the film and
television industry as well as founding the International Teleproduction
Society (ITS). He developed the ITS professional development training
program in conjunction with Emory University.

media include Senator Bob Dole, Senator Elizabeth Dole, Senator John
McCain, Governor Lawton Chiles, Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert,
Senator Paul Laxalt, Representative Tillie Fowler, Coach Bobby Bowden,
Coach Steve Spurrier, Coach Don Shula, Coach Billy Donovan, Coach Ron
Zook, Coach Lindy Infante, Pat Summerall, Ken Venturi, NFL players Jim
Kelly, Willie Jackson, Larry Czonka, Jim Kick, Rocky Blier, Drew Pearson
and he has also worked with celebrities such as Bob Hope, Charlton Heston,
Steve Allen, and many others.
Lou attended Hofstra University and Jacksonville University and has a
B.A. and MBA. He lives in Fairfield County, Connecticut and is an avid
sailor. He serves as a volunteer on the national headquarters staff of
the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. His daughter is the Marketing Director
of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation and his son is a Naval Aviator.
